HhMicromax has announced that it will updating its Canvas range of Android smartphones in India to Android 5.0 Lollipop update in the coming weeks.
The first phone in the Canvas series to get the Lollipop update will be the Canvas Xpress A99, which is a budget smartphone.
Users will automatically get a OS update notification while having internet connection on their Canvas phone. If not, users can also avail the software upgradation facility manually by going to 'Settings' and selecting 'Software update' in 'About Phone'.
Lollipop (5.0 ) is the latest version of mobile operating system for Android smartphones.
The upgradation move has come soon after other brands announced OS update for their devices.
